You know I love giving things away around here, so I’m thrilled to be participating in the Bloggy Giveaways Carnival. I’ve got some great items to give away, so I decided to do more than one giveaway this week.
My first item is so lovely, I’m having a hard time actually giving it away! I’ve got a 5 x 5 fine art print from mixed media artist Kelly Rae Roberts. It’s the Speak of Your Gratitude print, which I just love.
To enter:
To honor the intent of this beautiful print, leave a comment telling me something that you are grateful for.
I will pick the winner using the random.org generator and will notify them via their email. Open to US addresses only. It’s one entry per person, but you can earn extra entries.
To earn extra entries:
- Subscribe to my feed You can subscribe through a feed reader or you can also subscribe by email and have posts sent to your email address. If you’re not familiar with RSS feeds and would like to know what the heck it is , click here.
- Mention this giveaway on your blog with a link back here.
Please leave 1 extra comment for each additional entry, telling me which you have done (ie 1 extra comment if you subscribe, 1 extra comment if you mention this on your blog)
This giveaway will end at midnight CST on Thursday July 31st.
I will have another giveaway which will start later this week, to celebrate the Bloggy Giveaways Carnival. Be sure and check back, it’s going to be fun!

I am thankful that I have a husband who will listen to my crazy double talk and rants and raves as I talk in circles about the “stress” in my life. He will listen and offer advice and support me when I finally make my choices and never complain that the dishes weren’t done when he came home from a long day at work. I just love that man.

I’m extremely grateful for my health and for the good health of my loved ones. We are currently praying for healing for my father, for he has an aneurysm that needs to be repaired, but it will require open heart surgery to fix it. It has made me more aware of how we don’t have the promise of a tomorrow, so we need to live and love to the best of our ability today!
Thanks for the giveaway!

Of course I am grateful my my wonderful family (children, husband, parents, etc.) they are what I live for each and every day, but even great than that I am grateful to be alive, to be walking and talking with both hands and both feet, being able to see and hear, and never take any of that for granted! There is so much tragedy and horror in this world and sometimes people forget to focus on the simple things like being able to see and hear, being able to walk and write with a pen, those are the greatest gifts and if you watch the news, there are many that can’t do those very simple things because of war and tragedy! Be thankful and grateful, and the rest of the joy life has to bring will follow!

I am thankful for whatever guiding force in my life that leads me on the path I have chosen. I’m grateful for my love, and my passion, and my enthusiasm. I’m grateful for my ability to accept my flaws and learn from them, and from my ability to, at length, understand that those who turn me away because of my flaws turn away most of what makes me as strong as I am. I am grateful to have the friends I have who love me for all of me, and who nurture and protect me, and who push me to be better than I think I can be because they know it is still not as good as I can become.
I am grateful to have however many days left as I do, and for have been given the chance to do good for the world.

Im thankful for my mom. It took almost losing her to ovarian cancer to really open my eyes to how much she means to me. She lost her mother when she was a baby and experianceing things like getting married and the birth of my two kids really makes me feel for how gratful I am to have her here to experiance them with me and sad to think how she must’ve elt going through all those things without her. Im gratful for every memory I’ll be able to hold and cherish of her and memory my children will have of her. Everyday is a battle but everyday is also a gift.

Do I have to mention just one thing? I can’t. So maybe that’s what I’m most grateful for: having an abundance of blessings!
* Negative test results. * Baby belly laughs. * Health. * God giving me the blessing of holding my children each day, when others’ arms are empty. * Freedom. * Babies who sleep through the night. * Buying breakfast for the car behind me at McDonald’s. * The joy on my daughter’s face when she steps off the bus and runs to my arms. * Knowing my husband’s love is an extension of God’s love for me, and that God put him in my life to show me what unconditional is all about. * Air conditioning. * Laughter. * Being able to remember certain things in my past without crying anymore. * Passion. * Faith. * Loyalty. * Amazing friends who come and go in my life and teach me more about myself. * Sacrifices my parents made that helped me become who I am today. * The ability to pay back the debt I owe my parents – but to pay it forward instead. And knowing that they’re proud of me and watching over me.
P.S. I loved your lactose intolerance post. It made me laugh out loud!

I am greatful for my “hard work’n hubby”. He busts his bottom EVERYDAY at work and then comes home and still finds time to play with pur four kids, help with the supper dishes, mowing the lawn, scrubbin floors and vacuuming. (and yes, sometimes it is ALL IN A DAYS WORK). Never (well, hardly never) a gripe out of his mouth. Couldn’t do it without him.
Happy day.

I am grateful that despite the health conditions that make every day extremely painful physically, I have enough emotional and spiritual fortitude to stay strong and keep a sense of humor about myself and my life!

I am grateful for a God who loves me, a Savior who saved me, a husband who loves me, kids who make me laugh, a home to keep me dry and safe, a car to get me places and food to keep my belly full. I live a very blessed life!

There are so many things I’m grateful for. We were at a baseball game the other night and we saw a mother walking her son by. He was in his 20s, I would guess and had Downs. I just looked at hubby and said how blessed we are. Our children are happy and healthy. One has a genius IQ and the other is beautiful. Who needs money when you have family?

I am thankful for my husband. When we first got married he was diagnosed with Crohns disease, and a year later he had his colon removed. It is inspiring to me for a 21 year old man to bounce back from all of the Doctors and Health issues. He has turned into a great husband and a wonderful father and provider.
