My boys are spending a few days with their grandparents this week. While I’ve enjoyed the peace and quiet, I’m really missing them.

Are they missing me? Well, here’s an excerpt of a couple of our phone conversations while they’ve been gone:

Day 1

Mom: Hey guys! How are you? Are you having fun? Are you wearing sunscreen? Are you sleeping late? Did you go to the lake with grandpa? Did you play with your cousins? What have you been doing? I miss you guys, it’s so quiet here. And Coach is so lonely, he wanders the house looking for his boys.

Boys: We’re having fun. Gotta go. Bye.

Day 3:

Mom: Hey guys, how are you? Still having fun?

Boys: We’re having fun. What have you and dad been doing? What’s dad doing right now? What are you doing right now? What is the dog doing right now? Does the dog miss us? Will you bring the dog to pick us up? When will you pick us up? Can it be earlier? Who is coming to pick us up? What are we doing next week? Can you call again tonight, I want to talk to you again.

I don’t know for sure, but it sounds like THEY MISS ME!
