I’ll confess, I have very few tips to contribute to Works for Me Wednesday. Because I’m not handy, at all. I guess I could ask my son for some tips, he’s good that way. But I do have a few tried and true recipes that I can throw together in a pinch, so I can at least share something.

The Easiest Fruit Salad Ever

1 can mandarin oranges

1 banana, sliced

1 tub frozen strawberries (not the bag, use the tub that has strawberries with the syrup) slightly thawed

Mix everything together, keep chilled until serving time.

And that’s it! When my friend told me about this, I thought, no way, it’s too easy. But my kids love it. I usually double the recipe and we never have leftovers.

It is so easy, great for nights when you just don’t have much time to cook. We especially love it in the summer, it’s nice and cool.

This one seems easy to make and hopefully can help me cut down on my calories. Wish me luck – I wanna get it right on my first try!
