Our dryer broke last year and it was 2 months before I got around to replacing it. The socks and towels were a bit stiff, but they all dried just fine. I have a drier again now, but I usually just fluff the clothes then hang them out. No actual clothesline, but the spokes on the patio umbrella work well too! And this time of year, I hang them on the shower rod and on a clothes horse in front of the heating vents - they dry quickly and add some needed humidity to the house.
