I wish I could locate an amusing holiday photo, somewhere in old albums, to create a funny homemade Christmas card…you know, like the Hallmark ones, where they take a funny old photo and put a hilarious caption on it. My mom always dragged my sister and me to studios for “portraits,” each year, dressed in over-starched Sunday finery and grumpy faces. Soooo boring!

Fantacy, your kids are so cute! I love the picture of all 3 of them at the pumpkin patch. At least yours look like they can sit next to each other for more than 3 seconds without cracking up,which is what mine do.

hahahahahaha are you sure your boys aren’t related to MY boys?! surely they much be distant cousins at VERY least! I have to agree with everyone else about the personality and it being better than posed
Now having said that, I was close to the point of cussing whilst trying to get a family photo of us this year (yes US, all 5 of us…me hub 13 1/2 yr old boy 10 yr old boy and 4 yr old girl……um all while using a timer on my camera…uh hem…yeah shoulda saw the frustration coming a mile away!) Finally I said, everyone do what you want in the pic, do whatever you feel like doing, but this WILL be our family Christmas pic no matter what!” and it is our family Christmas pic hahahahaha I am not a professional either, but if a pro were around, my family would not act like MY family so I guess I am sorta glad for the candids you should do a collage/digiscrapbook style page with all the goofball pics and use that as your card (if you are sending them out or emailing them) Thanks for making me see that my kids are totally “normal”

if you scroll to about 1/2 way through that post you will see why your younger son has me sighing a knowing sigh (my middle’un does the SAME exact thing )

I do like unposed, buy they kind of got out of control with the giggling, and my youngest went a little nuts with his posing,lol. We’re working on it.

I think the top one is great! You should use that! I love pictures that are too posed for and are fun. It shows the real side of your kids!!

I think it’s the ones like yours above that are so very interesting and fun to receive in the mail. They’ve got personality!
