- Dark, rainy Fridays.
- Kids going to their friends houses after school. Yay!
- Today I lost my phone, my purse and a business card I needed. The grace? I found them all.
- As of right now, no big weekend plans. Just quiet.
- Laundry is washed, dried and put away. It’s nice starting the weekend with empty clothes hampers.
Make the world a better place by finding grace in small things.

I’m happy about us finally having a sunny friday! We’ve been having too many dark and rainy ones. Even though they are enjoyable when they are once in a while!

Yes, we forget that “grace” comes to us in many small ways…it’s a sunny Friday, no company expected this weekend so I can use my Target gift cards and do a little shopping; the bills are all paid and there’s plenty of food in the refrigerator and freezer, and the laundry is done

I enjoy sunny days too, but thanks to the rain I was able to get the laundry done and the house kind of clean. When it’s a nice sunny spring day, it’s so tempting to not get any of the housework done. I’m glad it’s sunny where you guys are!

Ah sun! After library story hour today we let the kids run rings around the flagpole on the lawn outside, pick the first dandelions I’ve seen all season and climb the nearest tree. Warm weather, how I’ve missed you!

So many times people only celebrate gigantic things. I love the grace in small things mindset. There are many things to celebrate daily. Good for you!

Isn’t it wonderful to find grace in the little things…like no plans?!! So glad you found your purse and the rest. I’ve known that moment of complete panic when you realize it’s not with you! Hope you have a great weekend!!

We need to be reminded about the wonderful small things in life. Sometimes we all get overwhelmed by the problems and forget to enjoy the everyday blessings of life and family.

Amen! It is often in the small things that God’s grace is so apparent. And so important to be attentive to all the small blessings. Thanks for sharing–you sound like me, losing things and by grace finding them again. I often wonder if God rolls His eyes at me, and thinks “Here does another Hide-n-Seek game, why can’t she just find a good spot and stick to it!”
Blessings~

The joy of finding important things that were thought lost! I thought I lost my purse in a store last month – with my phone, wallet, card, makeup, everything. Seeing it sitting in the car after I sprinted out to check – ahhh, that was sooo nice.

I am always “losing” important things, because I lay them down wherever I am. I’ve been very lucky to always find them – so far!

I’m trying to do this more, I really am. I’m mostly good about it, but sometimes I just can’t see it!
Today, it’s finding a $30 Kohls Cash coupon that doesn’t expire until tomorrow (although yes, I wish I had realized on the day they sent it to me that it expired tomorrow, because I would have used it for the big sale this weekend – but I am not not not focusing on that part !!!)

I was grateful for warm, sunny days; on the weekend while I’m home instead of while I’m at work!
