These pictures were taken today, but this scene is played out over and over every day, with both of my sons and their dog.

Aren’t they both so pretty handsome?

Going in for the smooch.

 Happy dog!

It’s hard to get a good picture of Coach because he is wagging his tail so fast and hard that his whole backside is wiggling.

By now Coach is worn out from all the lovin.  He’ll drift off for his mid morning nap, which comes after his morning nap and before his afternoon nap.  He’s a busy guy with all the napping.

I love those pictures. I have a Golden Retriever that my grand kids hang all over. She’s like a member of our family and we all love her to pieces. So I can certainly understand how much you care about your dog.

Coach does look like he has a hard life, doesn’t he, lol. That room had just been vacuumed, otherwise you’d see more dog hair than carpet. I wasn’t thinking about the shedding when we adopted a BLACK dog, and it’s horrible. But we tolerate the shedding because he owns us now :)

Coach looks like a real sweetie! My dog has that same backside issue. Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle from the ribs back. :)

There is nothing like a kid and his dog!! You did a great job photographing Coach, with his black coat. My black dog is impossible to photograph…I just get a black blob half the time!

I am kind of in love with Coach. No better way to start off a week than with doggie photos!! He looks like a sweetiepie.

Is Coach (great name) a black Lab? My parents always had Labs until the last one passed away a few years ago and broke their hearts so much so they said “No more dogs”. We use to say that when we died we wanted to come back as one of Mom’s labs:) That’s how good their lives were. The last Lab, “Emmy” use to sit upright in the passenger’s seat in my Mom’s car and my Mom would take her through the drive-thru at McDonalds (Emmy’s favorite place) and place an order or two for her, then she would site there and eat right out of the bag, Emmy that is:) We love animals:) Your dog is adorable whatever his breed might be-they become one of the family.

Coach is “mostly” black lab. We adopted him from a local lab rescue group, and the first time I took him to the vet she took one look and said “you realize he’s not full lab?” Of course we didn’t care. He’s very tall for a lab. Based on that and the shape of his head, several people have said they think he’s got some great dane in him. Whatever he is, he’s the most gentle dog I’ve ever had.

I told him he’s getting famous on the internet. He yawned and went back to sleep :)

Ador-a-ble. My little one is black with similar white markings, but she’s not nearly that laid back.
