Bloggy Giveaways Carnival time again! To celebrate the launch of my review site, I’m giving away a $25 Target gift card.

To enter:

Please leave a comment telling me what you would like to buy at Target if you win the gift card. If you’re like me, that could be a long list!

I will pick the winner using the random.org generator and will notify them via their email. Open to US addresses only. It’s one entry per person, but you can earn extra entries.

Hello! At target I would raid their dollar section, then hit their toy section and find something for my kids, and if there was any money left I’d hit their clothing section and buy something for me (cause I love that). Or, maybe I’d just spend the whole thing towards a high chair (cause we need one of those too).

What to buy at Target- that’s a tough one. I usually go in for a few things and end up with many.
I think I’d get a head start on Christmas toys.

Well, how do I say this? I’d head into Target intent on spending JUST the $25 – picking up helpful household items or something nice and mundane. But of course as I walked in the door I’d find the cutest pair of gloves with a matching hat that would go great with my winter coat. Toss ‘em in the cart. I can use my own money for mundane household goods. I’m treating me to the gloves and hat. Then, I’d find the holiday themed t-shirts for my kids – can’t pass them up. Ok, I need household goods. I need gloves and a hat. I don’t need kid holiday themed t-shirts. I’ll use the gift card for them and just buy the other stuff. But, oh, ok, hold on a second. The girl child said she wanted new bunny slippers from Santa…and those are cute little slippers. ok, so I’ll just buy the other stuff use the card on slippers for the kids. Whiz past the toys really fast “I’m not looking!” Oh, wait, more stocking stuffers. Hmm…well…ok. Rush past the media – ahh, ok, now really, this gift card is for ME and for fun. So I’m going to have to buy that Season 4 DVD set of The Office. The card can off-set the cost and I’ll just pay for the other stuff…

We just got a local Target about a year ago, it quickly became my FAVORITE store. It is clean and well stocked all the time. The employees are friendly as well (such a change from the local Wally World place)…anyway…wow, I purchase everything at Target. Clothes, cleaning supplies, food, vehicle stuff, holiday stuff, scrapbooking materials, makeup, bathroom stuff, I could walk you down each aisle saying “Oh I need this, or that”.

With the $25 though I would have to say I would be spending it on Christmas toys for my son. Economy has really hit everyone, it will be a smaller year. The one thing I am looking forward to because of it is that families will spend more time together instead of time on the ‘new great ‘whatever’ they just opened’.
