We have several. Baking cookies, building the gingerbread house, and we have fun picking out one new piece for our Christmas village every year.

We have a few holiday traditions.

We add a jingle bell to our stocking each year. So, my dh and I have been together for 8 years now, and there are 8 bells on our stockings. I love sewing them on. We have started this for my extended family if they don’t object to bells on their stockings!

We also make a lasagna dinner on Christmas eve and then a Birthday cake for Jesus on Christmas afternoon!

Our fun holiday tradition is that we always have to have pigs in a blanket on Christmas Eve. Even though my children are now grown and gone, they have to come to my house on Christmas Eve and have Pigs in a Blanket, along with other treats of course, but the Pigs have to be present or there’s whining.

Our fun tradition is that we have a big birthday party before we are allowed to do anything Christmas related on Christmas eve. we have so many December and Christmas birthdays its the only way to make them feel special. no x-mas wrap, no joint gifts, just some good old fashioned gifts and cake!
