There is still time to enter the Pillsbury Bake-off Contest for a chance to win up to one million dollars! One hundred finalists will win a trip to the finals, April 11 – 13, 2010, at the Waldorf-Astoria Orlando and Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek hotel in Florida. I got a Salton Santa Fe Quesadilla Maker several years ago, used a few times and put it on a shelf. I think my kids were small and didn’t like quesadillas, or any spicy food, so I just didn’t use it.
My 13 year old has been asking to cook, and I let him whenever he wants to. Last night he asked if he could use the quesadilla maker to fix our dinner. We got it down, dusted it off, and he made a delicious dinner.
This is a very simple gadget to use, and it’s easy to clean up. My whole family loves any kind of quesadillas now, and there is no end to the different varieties we can make with this. Next my son wants to try a dessert quesadilla. I certainly won’t say no to that. It’s safe for even my youngest to use.
At my house we’re all about quick and easy meals, and I love anything that my kids can prepare themselves. They like to be independent and have a say in the meal planning, and with this they have a variety of recipes to try.
If you’re family is like mine, always in a hurry and not much time to spend cooking, the Santa Fe Quesadilla Maker is a great addition to your kitchen.
